There is no excuse for cheating on your partner. They may have left you already or are thinking about leaving you. Here is a plan of action to help you properly ask for forgiveness from your partner and win them back whether they left you a few days ago or a few months ago.

The first step to properly ask for forgiveness is to be genuinely sorry for what you did and figure out why you cheated in the first place. if you aren’t sorry for your actions, your partner will soon realize it and never want you back. Being genuine comes from the heart. Figuring out what went wrong in your relationship doesn’t mean blaming your partner for never listening to you or being a pain. Part 2 of the Apology: The Solution. This is where you present your partner with the plan of action that will prevent this from ever happening again in the future. Maybe you will increase your communication and be honest with each other, have more date nights, or allow your partner to access your mobile phone and emails at all times. Ultimately you want to rebuild your relationship on a stronger foundation of trust and communication. When your partner hears about your well thought out plan, they will appreciate the gesture and will be more willing to take you back. Your partner will see that you are serious and sincere in what you’re saying.

Above all, be honest and sincere in your intentions and your partner will be more than likely to give you a second chance.
